Mr. Kong, President of Comnet
Sciences Corporation, has extensive technical
and management experience with large international
financial, information technology, and consulting
organizations. His experience includes direct
management responsibility of 100+ employees
with over $20 million departmental budget
for strategic planning, business process
reengineering, new product development,
line operations and support, and technical
management. In particular, Mr. Kong has
successfully managed large multi-year software
and hardware development projects, mainframe
data center operations, data communications
network engineering and implementation,
and international wide area data and voice
network operations and supports. He has
consulted and managed a large array of information
technology and management engineering projects
for the Federal government and Fortune 500
companies.
As President of Comnet Sciences
Corporation, he has built the company into
a multi-million dollar business enterprise
that serves public and commercial clients
throughout the United States. In the early
stages of the company, he was personally
involved with many of the company's information
technology projects that were successfully
delivered to highly-satisfied clients on
schedule and within budget. These projects
include the use of IT technologies, business
improvement methodologies, and various vendor
products for clients in the Federal and
State agencies.
Previous positions include
Vice President of Telecommunications at
Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, Senior
Consulting Engineer for ITT World Communications,
Consultant for Security Industry Automation
Corporation, Vice President of engineering
at Data Bank Corporation, Project Manager
at Cybermatic, and Member of Technical Staff
at Bell Laboratory and Western Electric
Company.
Mr. Kong received both BEE
and MEE degrees from New York University.
He is also certified by the Software Engineering
Institute of Carnegie Mellon University
on Software Capability Evaluation (SCE)
and a member of the Institute of Electrical
and Electronic Engineer.
